Artists,Artlovers: Lahore Biennale is taking place in November 2017
Pakistan is joining the buzz and din of contemporary and modern art fairs later this year on large scale,as inaugural Lahore biennale is set to begin in November 5 to December 24,2017.
The biennale will feature public Art projects ,encouraging artists and collectors to look and appreciate art beyond Galleries.Art should not be confined to elite galleries and elite audience,once its available to all to participate,it nurtures and grow.
The Artists and venue for the Lahore Biennale is in decision making process.'It will not take place in a white cube museum',Rashid Rana,the Artistic director of Lahore biennale foundation,and Dean of Visual Arts at BeaconhouseNational University,said in a press release.

Lahore reached a peak of architectural glory during the rule of the Mughals, whose buildings and gardens survived the hazards of time. Lahore's reputation for beauty fascinated the English poet John Milton, who wrote "Agra and Lahore, the Seat of Great Mughal" in 1670.

The biennale is open for submission from Artists,writers,academics,students,and for anyone who has a project and wants to exhibit it!
So, my words on what to look for in this biennale:
1- Established and New Artists work of Arts
2- Curator and Artists talk
3- Lot of creative people to meet and make connections with
As an Artist in Pakistan,there is lack of guided resources for online and self study.My goal is to provide free resources to art students and community and help them excel in their desired area of interest from learning to marketing their art.
