Alif is the first alphabet of Arabic language.It has different shapes and form depending where it is used in a word. Different scripts of arabic language write Alif in different ways.
We ll write Alif in Celi divani or Jali Divani writing script.
Lets start with writing the first alphabet in Arabic language; ALIF
Tools and Materials:
You ll need
- Qalam/Reed pen
- Calligraphy inks in any color
- smooth calligraphy paper
Dip pen in ink and begin writing with slightly tilted qalam.While making stroke with qalam,move it in a way that when you end the letter the qalam ends on a point on paper.Alif is never written straight as it might appear to you, it slants towards right.
